Chronic respiratory insufficiency

Chronic respiratory insufficiency

John suffers from chronic respiratory failure. After an acute episode, hypercapnia measured by EPOC, an ambulatory blood gas analyser, confirms the need of a ventilation therapy. John will be offered a  Monnal T50 ventilator. After few days of adaptation with the ventilator, the hypercapnia will disappear and John will be discharged home.

The home healthcare provider will support the patient with the best practices for each medical device delivered. John will learn how to clean his Respireo Mask, how to use his ventilator.

If he needs some support to cough, John will probably learn how to use his Alpha 300.  Some medicine can be also provided with aerosoltherapy devices, like L’Espace.

The home healthcare provider ensure an efficient feedback to the prescriber; on demand of the prescriber, he also performs nocturnal SPO2 recordings using an wristox. In the future, more and more connected devices will help the prescriber to focus efforts on the patients who need it most.
Today, compliance data of sleep apnea patients are recorded by Nowapi and daily sent to Home Healthcare providers and doctors.
